There are three ways to use Kia plug-in technology – a balanced hybrid mode that combines power from both the gas engine and electric motor for ultimate performance, an all-electric mode for zero-emission short trips around town, and an all-gas mode to help preserve battery life. Charging Your Kia Plug-In Hybrid
All plug-in hybrids come with a level 1 charging cord (10.5 hours for a full charge) and there’s an optional ChargePoint level 2 charger for home installation (3.5 hours for a full charge). When you’re out and about, you can take advantage of dozens of Lancaster area EV charging stations; many have DC fast charging, which can fill up your Kia plug-in hybrid vehicle’s battery in under half an hour.
